Rice pudding

Nice for cold winter nights

Adjust Amount:

Ingredients

10 g
Butter
100 g
Rice, short grain (e.g.: Arborio)
330 mL
Milk
1 tbsp
Sugar
1 pinch
Salt
1/4 tsp
Vanilla extract (optional)

On the Plate:

25 min

Instructions

  1. Melt the butter in a pan and add the rice. Leave to brown for a few minutes.
  2. Add the milk, sugar, salt and vanilla extract.
  3. Bring the milk to the boil and then simmer for approx. 20 minutes on a low heat with the lid on.
  4. Serve with cinnamon and sugar or a jam. (e.g: Anna's plum jam
