Swiss Bricelet

An Emmental classic, ideal with a hot drink or ice cream.

Portions:

~100 bricelet

Ingredients

125 g
Butter, soft
125 g
Sugar
1 pinch
Salt
2
Eggs
1/2
Zest of a lemon
1 tbsp
Kirsch
250 g
Flour

Preparation:

Refrigerate for 1.5 hours

On the Plate:

2-3h

Instructions

  1. Stir the butter until peaks form. Add the sugar and salt.
  2. Add the eggs and beat until the mixture is light in colour.
  3. Stir in the lemon zest, kirsch and flour. Bring the dough together, do not knead.
  4. Wrap in cling film and refrigerate for approx. 1.5 hours.
  5. Shape the dough into nut-sized balls. Bake in portions in a buttered griddle until light brown.
