Banana bread

Ideal for using up leftover overripe bananas.

Adjust Amount:

Ingredients

2-3
Very ripe bananas
75 g
Butter, melted
1/2 tsp
Baking soda powder
1 pinch
Salt
100-150 g
Sugar
1
Egg
200 g
Flour
6% Protein
33% Fat
61% Carbs

Baking:

55-65 minutes at 180 °C Top/bottom heat

Cooking:

2 h

On the Plate:

3 h

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees top/bottom heat.
  2. In a bowl, mash the peeled bananas with a fork until homogeneous.
  3. Stir in the melted butter.
  4. Now add the remaining ingredients and mix together.
  5. Pour into a buttered cake tin and flatten.
  6. Bake for 55-65 minutes.
  7. Leave to cool in the tin on a rack for a few minutes, then remove from the tin and leave to cool completely on the rack.
