Ave ^⚬María, grátia plena. Dóminus tecum, Hail ^⚬Mary, full of grace. The Lord is with thee. benedícta tu in muliéribus, Blessed art thou amongst women, et benedíctus fructus ventris tui, ^⚬Jesus. and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, ^⚬Jesus.

Sancta ^⚬María, mater Dei, ora pro nobis peccatóribus, Holy ^⚬Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, nunc, et in hora mortis nostræ. Amen. now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

Salve, Regína, Hail, Holy Queen, máter misericórdiae; Mother of Mercy, Víta, dulcédo et spes nóstra, sálve. our life, our sweetness and our hope.

Ad te clamámus, éxsules fílii Hévae. To thee do we cry, poor banished children of Eve. Ad te suspirámus, To thee do we send up our sighs, geméntes et fléntes in hac lacrimárum válle. mourning and weeping in this valley of tears. Grátiam tuam, quǽsumus, Dómine, méntibus nostris infúnde; Pour forth, we beseech Thee, O Lord, Thy grace into our hearts, ut qui, Ángelo nuntiánte, Christi Fílii tui incarnatiónem cognóvimus, that we to whom the Incarnation of Christ Thy Son was made known by the message of an angel, per passiónem eius et crucem ad resurrectiónis glóriam perducámur. may by His Passion and Cross be brought to the glory of His Resurrection. Deus, qui per resurrectiónem Fílii tui Dómini nostri Iesu Christi mundum lætificáre dignátus es, O God, who through the resurrection of Thy Son our Lord Jesus Christ didst vouchsafe to give joy to the world, præsta, quǽsumus, ut per eius Genetrícem Vírginem Maríam perpétuæ capiámus gáudia vitæ. grant, we beseech Thee, that through His Mother the Virgin Mary we may obtain the joys of everlasting life.
