Wild garlic cheese spaetzle

A Swabian classic spiced up a little for spring.

Wild garlic

Kässpätzle

150 g
Gruyère, grated
150 g
Emmental cheese, grated
3-4
Onion, medium size
Butter
36% Protein
8% Fat
56% Carbs

Instructions

  1. Wash and finely chop the wild garlic. Add to the dough in the following steps and proceed as for Kässpätzle.

Kässpätzle

  1. Meanwhile, caramelise the onion half rings in butter over a medium heat. Stir constantly.
  2. Place the spaetzle and cheese in alternating layers in a baking tin.
  3. When all the spaetzle have been cooked, leave the baking tin in the oven for 15 minutes until the cheese has melted.
