Baking:

25 min at 170 °C Top/bottom heat

Instructions

  1. Mix all the dry ingredients together. Preheat the oven to 170 degrees.
  2. Cut the butter into small cubes and add. Grind into a sandy mixture.
  3. Whisk the egg with the milk and add. Mix quickly to form a dough, do not knead.
  4. If necessary, flour the dough well and roll out to a thickness of approx. 2.5 cm.
  5. Cut out to the desired size and place on a baking tray.
  6. Whisk an egg with a little milk and brush the scones with it.
  7. Bake for approx. 25 minutes until golden-brown.
  8. Leave to cool for at least 30 minutes. The scones are best the day after.
