Daddy's Spaghetti

The arch enemy of every Italian, but quickly made and pure nostalgia

Ingredients

200 g
Spaghetti, dry weight
30 g
Butter
3 tbsp
Ketchup
Parmesan cheese, grated

On the Plate:

15 min

Instructions

  1. Place the pasta in boiling salted water and cook until al dente.
  2. Strain the pasta and keep some of the water (~5 tbsp).
  3. Melt the pasta in the pan with the butter, removed from the heat, stirring constantly.
  4. Add the ketchup and mix until homogeneous.
  5. Serve with plenty of grated Parmesan cheese.

For an extra shot of nostalgia, overcook the spaghetti for a few minutes, but al-dente is also great.
