Cucumber salad

Something fresh with grilled meat

Ingredients

Cucuber
150 g
Yoghurt
1
Garlic clove
6 twigs
Dill, fresh (alternatively: 2 tbsp dill tips)
Salt

Instructions

  1. Thinly slice the cucumber. A vegetable slicer would be best here.
  2. Salt the chopped cucumber pieces heavily and leave to rest in a sieve for 30 minutes.
  3. Just before serving, mix the yoghurt with the finely chopped dill and the freshly pressed garlic clove.
  4. Mix with the drained cucumber slices and serve.

The bite of the garlic is very time-dependent. So you may want to press it 5-10 minutes before serving to give it a weaker bite.
