- Cut the onions into half rings and sauté in a pan with butter.
- Slice the mushrooms and add to the onions. Add more butter if necessary. Cook until the mushrooms are slightly caramelised.
- Roughly chop the tomatoes into 2 cm pieces and add to the pan.
- Season with salt, pepper, thyme and oregano.
- Reduce the heat 5 minutes before serving and add the cream. Allow to boil down.
- Serve with your choice of starch. Particularly suitable are bread dumpings.
