Tract (Ps 106:32; 106:31)

Exáltent eum in Ecclésia plebis: et in cáthedra seniórum laudent eum.

Let them extol him in the assembly of the people and praise him in the council of the elders.

Confiteántur Dómino misericórdiæ ejus; et mirabília ejus fíliis hóminum.

Let them give thanks to the Lord for His kindness and His wondrous deeds to the children of men.

Oratio Petri

Deus, qui beáto Petro Apóstolo tuo, collátis clávibus regni cœléstis, ligándi atque solvéndi pontifícium tradidísti: concéde; ut, intercessiónis ejus auxílio, a peccatórum nostrórum néxibus liberémur:

O God, who together with the keys of the kingdom of heaven didst bestow on thy blessed Apostle Peter the pontifical power of binding and loosing, grant that by the aid of this intercession, we may be released from the bonds of our sins.

Oratio Pauli

Deus, qui multitúdinem géntium beáti Pauli Apóstoli prædicatióne docuísti: da nobis, quǽsumus; ut, cujus commemoratiónem cólimus, ejus apud te patrocínia sentiámus.

O God, Who taught vast numbers of the Gentiles by the preaching of the blessed Apostle Paul, grant, we beseech You, that by honoring his memory, we may enjoy the benefit of his patronal intercession with You.

Secreta Petri

Ecclésiæ tuæ, quǽsumus, Dómine, preces et hóstias beáti Petri Apóstoli comméndet orátio: ut, quod pro illíus glória celebrámus, nobis prosit ad véniam.

We beseech You, O Lord, may the prayer of the blessed Apostle, Peter, recommend the petitions and offerings of Your Church, so that what we celebrate in his honor may obtain forgiveness for us.

Postcommunio Petri

Lætíficet nos, Dómine, munus oblátum: ut, sicut in Apóstolo tuo Petro te mirábilem prædicámus; sic per illum tuæ sumámus indulgéntiæ largitátem.

O Lord, may the gift we offer bring us joy, that as we praise Your wondrous work in Your Apostle Peter, so through him may we share Your generous forgiveness.
